Posted - 09/19/2005 : 13:47:28 I posted recently about my toe problems and was told by Drdrizzles on the board to check with a neurologist to conferm that I have this. I have indeed been diagnosed with this basically uncurable ailment! Anybody have any experience with neuropathy or better yet polyneurophy in the pinky toes? I know this is a longshot. Haven't really found anything in Sarnos book about it and I understand it affects many people. looks like I have a real problem here! Anyone? I am scheduled for an EMG next month. |

Posted - 09/22/2005 : 16:08:12 Thanks for your response but it doesn't seem like the same thing. The pinky toes are something that have been constant for 2 1/2 years now. Unlike the usual TMS symptoms that come and go(which I know all too well about from the past). There are the toes inbetween that now get some numbness most of the time just lately which I think are possibly TMS related to this other problem. The only way I can describe it is like your pinky toe was rubbing against your shoe for a long time and just never went away even when not in shoes. They feel cronically inflamed. Thanks for responding anyway! I really appreciate it since obviously nobody else shares anything like this. That is why I am so wigged out that I really do have neuropathy in those toes. I really thought it was TMS about a year ago about now it doesn't look so good. |

Posted - 09/21/2005 : 12:30:11 Hi, Holly. Yesterday, I googled my symptoms (extreme stiffness, numbness and tingling in toes, feet and legs -- sometimes even arms and chest) and was taken straight to various neurology sites that suggested MS (multiple sclerosis). Well, that's one thing I definitely don't have so I thought, "ha! it's TMS". Today, I feel much better. Not nearly as stiff and no numbness or tingling at all. First time in weeks. |
