I have been working with Bradshaw's tapes on the family and healing your inner child. It has been very helpful in reducung my emotional load, finding the right affirmations to use, and getting the tms to get less painful.
As he was talking about the listener going back into a painful memory to work it through, he said that 'you may feel afraid, or have a headache, or your back may start to hurt..."
Apparently he realizes the mindbody connection, though doesnt call it TMS. It'd be great if him and Sarno could hook up to do a book/tape

Posted - 08/31/2005 : 23:22:22 I had a conversation with John about 2 years ago where I was asking for his advice on how to approach my specific TMS problem. I told him quickly my history. His answer was to get body work as his inner child stuff wouldn't heal my problem because of the very early trauma. Granted we didn't have a lot of time to talk about this but as we all know that was the wrong answer. I don't expect Bradshaw and Sarno to hook up any time soon. |
