I was watching Oprah today and found the topic very interesting, although I did not tune in until the program was half over. They were talking about mother/daughter relationships and they had a psychologist on named Gail Saltz. She has a book out called Becoming Real and it sounds interesting. I went on-line and checked it out and it seems to have great reviews. Anyway, she talks about how our childhood and relationship with our mothers effects us for the rest of our life. She said something like "The relationship with your mother is the most important one because it will effect every other relationship you have and everything you do for the rest of your life." Interesting. I'm going to try to find the book and check it out.
